Unemployment Compensation

The Extent of Our Abilities

PA CareerLink® Lackawanna County is NOT the Unemployment Compensation (UC) office.

Our staff administers UC programs, such as RESEA, and assists individuals in registering for the PA CareerLink® website to comply with UC requirements.

None of our staff members are directly employed by the Office of Unemployment Compensation; therefore, our abilities are limited in answering your questions regarding UC matters. However, we will always do our best to guide you towards the best possible answers to your questions.

Once a month we offer “Ask the UC Rep” sessions where you can meet privately with an Unemployment Compensation Representative to discuss your UC matters.

Check out our calendar for upcoming dates and times.

Please refer to the Unemployment Compensation website for more information.
